Job summary

Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our Lindenhurst, NY service centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repair services to help keep customers safely on the road.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
• Must have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.
• Preferred: State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications, including Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1).

Responsibilities

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids.
• Replacing worn or damaged parts.
• Completing state inspections, where applicable.
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
