Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Ridgefield Park, NJ is hiring full-time Automotive Mechanics to inspect, diagnose, and service customers' vehicles at our state-of-the-art service centers. You will handle undercar repairs, brakes, suspensions, and tire work, along with state inspections and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Possess an extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.
• State inspection license(s).
• ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs on customers' vehicles.
• Perform brakes, suspensions, tire services, and related maintenance tasks.
• Complete state-m mandated inspections and routine checks.
• Operate safely and efficiently following shop procedures.
