Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics for our Hamilton Square, NJ service centers. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide range of automotive services, including brakes, struts, and tires.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have an extensive personal toolbox of tools used for undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair (G1), Suspension & Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Carry out undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-m mandated inspections, change oil and filters, and check fluids.
• Replace worn parts and perform tire mounting/dismounting, balancing as needed.
• Work in a dynamic shop environment with adherence to safety standards.
