Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Mechanic in the Mebane, NC area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of automotive services, including brakes, suspensions, and tire work. You must stand, bend, lift, and perform other physical tasks daily.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of repair experience and own a complete toolbox. ASE certifications and state inspections are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Must possess an extensive personal toolbox for undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE certifications in relevant areas.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Carry out undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, and tire work.
• Perform state inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, and part replacements.
• Disassemble, mount, rotate, and balance tires as needed.
