Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Apex, NC is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art service, repair, and tire sales centers.

As an Automotive Mechanic, you will inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, oil changes, and tire installation, along with state inspections. On-the-job training and advancement opportunities are provided with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Extensive personal tool kit for undercar repairs.
• Preferred: State inspection license(s).
• Preferred ASE Certifications: Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services.
• Conduct undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections.
• Change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts.
• Rotate, balance, and handle tire installation/disassembly.
