Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in the Luling, LA area is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles at our service centers. You will handle brakes, struts, shocks, oil changes, fluid checks, tire mounting/balancing, and state inspections as required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience or relevant training.
• Extensive toolbox of personal tools required for undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection licenses and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Carry out undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Conduct state-mmandated inspections, oil changes, and fluid checks.
• Replace worn parts and mount/balance tires as needed.
• Safely perform lifting, bending, and repetitive maintenance tasks.

Skills

2+ years automotive repair experience

ASE Certifications preferred (G1 A4 A5
