Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics in the Luling, LA area to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles across a wide range of undercar services including brakes, struts, and tires.

Responsibilities include completing state inspections, changing oil/filters, checking fluids, and performing tire mounting/balancing. The team emphasizes safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair/maintenance or equivalent.
• Must possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services.
• Repair undercar systems including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and routine maintenance (oil, fluids, filters).
• Disassemble, mount, balance, and rotate tires as needed.
