Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at a service center in the Mandeville, LA area. Mechanics inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and tires, and complete state inspections.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with an extensive toolbox, and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and state licenses when applicable. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Must possess an extensive personal toolbox of tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services.
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections; change oil and filters; check fluids; replace worn parts.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
