Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking an Automotive Mechanic for our Baton Rouge area service centers. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing and performing a wide range of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts and tires.

You will also conduct state inspections and routine maintenance tasks. Qualified candidates bring 2 years of repair experience and a toolbox, with preference for ASE certifications and state licensure.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent.
• Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE certifications in Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair (G1), Suspension & Steering (A4), Brakes (A5).

Aufgaben

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Conduct undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-mmandated inspections and change oil/filters.
• Check fluids and replace worn parts; dismount/mount/rotate/balance tires.
