Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our service centers in the Niles, IL area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar repairs, including brakes, suspensions, oil changes, tire mounting/balancing, and state inspections.

Qualifications

• Must have practical auto repair experience and ability to diagnose a wide range of vehicle concerns.
• Ability to perform undercar work including brakes, suspensions, and tire services.
• Proven track record of reliable, safe automotive maintenance and repairs.
• State inspections or ASE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles and perform undercar repairs as directed.
• Repair brakes, struts, shocks, oil changes and fluid checks, and tire services.
• Perform state inspections and document work clearly for customers.
• Maintain clean work area and ensure safety and quality standards.
