CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate in West Point, VA to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, ensuring safety and performance. You’ll work with a skilled team to address tech challenges across domestic and foreign cars while upholding CarMax standards.

The role offers a climate-controlled facility, ongoing training, and growth opportunities. A new hire bonus of up to $5,000 is available based on experience; hourly pay is $24.70–$41.94 with health and benefits support.

Formación

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• State/Local ASE Certifications as listed (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2).
