CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate at our West Point, VA facility to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and quality standards. You will work on engines, brakes, steering, and suspension, gaining hands-on experience with domestic and foreign vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Maintain ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2) as required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to CarMax’s standards.
• Collaborate with team to solve technical challenges quickly.
