Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic/Technician to join our team in a full-time, day-shift role. You will diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues, perform brake and suspension work, and conduct preventive maintenance with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have previous automotive repair experience.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience with brakes, suspension, steering, maintenance, and general automotive repairs.
• Ability to accurately diagnose problems and recommend proper repairs.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and motivated.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must have basic automotive tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues.
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, electrical, and engine repairs.
• Complete preventive maintenance services and vehicle inspections.
• Accurately identify safety concerns and recommended maintenance.
• Document inspection findings, repairs, and recommendations clearly.
• Communicate vehicle concerns and repair needs to the service advisor.
• Complete repairs correctly and within an appropriate timeframe.
• Perform quality-control inspections before returning vehicles to customers.
• Properly use and maintain shop tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all company procedures and safety standards.
• Treat customers, coworkers, and customer vehicles with care and respect.
• Help provide a professional and welcoming customer experience.
