AUTO MECHANIC / AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN — KENNER, LA

The cars in Kenner have seen things… and now they need you to undo whatever just happened.

Some towns have normal car problems. Kenner is not one of those towns.

Here, vehicles roll into the shop looking like they just survived a Mardi Gras parade, a tropical storm, and a parking lot crawfish boil — all in the same week. You’ll see trucks with mystery smells, sedans with beads stuck in places beads should never be, and SUVs that “started making a noise after I drove through that puddle” (which was absolutely not a puddle).

This shop wants a technician who can keep a straight face when a customer says, “It only makes the noise when I turn left, accelerate, and pray.” They want the tech who can diagnose a problem before the hood even pops, who doesn’t panic when the dash lights up like Bourbon Street, and who knows how to bring a vehicle back from the brink of mechanical chaos.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Real diagnostics — not “swap parts until the universe gives up”
• Repairs on domestic & import vehicles
• Maintenance, brakes, suspension, electrical, and engine work
• Keeping customers safe and their vehicles alive
• Staying busy — this shop does not believe in slow days

What You Bring

• Experience as an Automotive Technician, Auto Mechanic, or ASE Tech
• Ability to diagnose and repair modern vehicles accurately
• Pride in doing the job right the first time
• A team‑focused mindset
• Certifications are great, but not required
