Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Mechanic Intermediate to maintain and repair our fleet across multiple locations within AMR. This full-time role focuses on safety, reliability, and timely transportation services for patients.

The position requires 2 years as a line mechanic or equivalent, relevant ASE certifications, and a valid driver's license. Earn up to $36/hour with a $10K sign-on bonus and comprehensive company benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current valid driver’s license is required.
• 2 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper / Associate experience.
• 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension.
• MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical and electrical repairs per policies and procedures.
• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Uses parts computer program to locate needed parts and verify correct application.
• Documents all completed tasks / job assignments in the maintenance database.
• Document service paperwork and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with information security standards.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members for effective service.

We’re hiring a Mechanic Intermediate responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the AMR company. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanic Intermediate performs mechanical and electrical repairs per policies and procedures.
• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Utilizes parts computer program to locate needed parts and verify correct application.
• Mechanic Intermediate uses maintenance database to document all completed tasks / job assignments.
• Clearly document service paperwork as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent education.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.

• 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension.
