Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Ground Maintenance Technician in Mesa to support fleet maintenance and safety across locations. The role involves mechanical and electrical repairs, responding to breakdowns, and documenting tasks in the maintenance database, with a starting wage of $19.00–$28.00 per hour or salary rate.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, 2 years of verifiable mechanic experience, and ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper experience is required.
• 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series) preferred, Brake and Steering / Suspension.
• MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification is required.
• 2 consecutive satisfactory yearly performance appraisals are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical and electrical repairs as per policies and procedures.
• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Assists other Mechanics as needed.
• Operates company vehicles in accordance with company policy and safe practices.
• Completes all required paperwork neatly, correctly and on time.
• Uses maintenance data base to document all completed tasks / job assignments.
• Attend all mandatory Fleet training.
• Performs all other duties as requested by Shop foreman or shop lead mechanic.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

We’re hiring aGround Maintenance Technician responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the AMR company. This is a key role toensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:
