Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis in the Oakland, NJ area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, and tire services.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of automotive repair experience, own a toolbox of personal tools, and be legally eligible to work in the United States. State inspections and ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or equivalent training/education.
• Extensive personal toolbox of tools used for undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services on customers' vehicles (undercar repairs).
• Perform brakes, struts, shocks, oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks and top-offs, parts replacement.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires and conduct state-m mandated inspections.
