Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at a service center in the Keyport, NJ area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services, including brakes, oil changes, tire mounting, and tire balancing.

Qualified candidates have 2 years of experience or training in automotive repair, own a toolbox, and may hold state inspection licenses or ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5). Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Own a toolbox of personal tools used for undercar repairs.
• Two years of experience and/or training in automotive repair or equivalent.
• Preferred: state inspection license and ASE G1/A4/A5 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Perform state inspections, oil and filter changes, and fluid checks.
• Replace worn parts and dismount/mount/rotate/balance tires.
