Job Description

Summary

Performs basic inspections, diagnostics, and mechanic services for automobiles and light trucks, ensuring optimal customer service and adherence to safety regulations. Responsibilities include inventory management and facility maintenance.

Essential Job Functions

• Utilizes tire equipment to mount, balance, repair flats, and perform tire diagnostics.
• Maintains knowledge of tire lines for inventory and stock management.
• Performs LOF and visual inspections, including under-hood and under-car checks.
• Performs basic replacements such as batteries, filters, wipers, and bulbs.
• Conducts alignments and fluid flushes using proper equipment.
• Performs diagnostics to identify noise or vibration issues.
• Assists with facility maintenance and general duties.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include basic automotive services, tire knowledge, maintenance skills, and diagnostic abilities.

Skills and Abilities

Ability to read and interpret safety and operating manuals, write routine reports, and solve practical problems. Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly, work standing for extended periods, and operate tools safely.

Work Environment

Full-time, 40 hours per week, including Saturdays, with occasional travel. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, noise, and outdoor conditions.
