Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced automotive mechanics with the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of various vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
  • Perform basic automotive services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, battery installations, and fluid top-offs.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
  • Follow safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers, providing clear explanations of repair needs and services performed.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through training and hands-on practice.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and grow in the automotive field.
  • Ability to work well in a team and take direction from senior mechanics.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience in automotive repair or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with automotive tools and equipment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
