Responsibilities:

1. Assist experienced automotive mechanics with the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of various vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
2. Perform basic automotive services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, battery installations, and fluid top-offs.
3. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
4. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
5. Follow safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
6. Communicate effectively with team members and customers, providing clear explanations of repair needs and services performed.
7. Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through training and hands-on practice.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
3. Strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and grow in the automotive field.
4. Ability to work well in a team and take direction from senior mechanics.
5. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
