Job summary

CarMax in West Point, Virginia, seeks a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and performance standards. You will work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility and grow through ongoing training and tools provided by CarMax.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with engines, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC, plus a valid driver's license and ASE certifications where required. Hiring bonuses are available for new hires.

Qualifications

• Experience with engine, steering/suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver's license and ASE certifications as listed where required.
