Job summary

Mavis Tire (formerly Pep Boys) is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our Crestwood, IL centers. As part of the nation’s largest automotive service organization, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• At least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
• Must have personal tools to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections, where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Maintain Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
