Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our Pittsburgh, PA area service centers. This full-time role focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles, with opportunities for career growth within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

Responsibilities include brake, suspension, tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, and state inspections, along with maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids
• Replacing worn or damaged parts
• Completing state inspections, where applicable
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service
