Job summary

Firestone Complete AutoCare in Manchester, NH is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs. Responsibilities include oil changes, tire maintenance, battery installation, parts installation, and road testing vehicles.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of auto repair experience or completed related Vocational-Technical training, a valid driver's license, and basic math/reading/writing skills. ASE A1-A8 is preferred; strong learning ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years automotive repair experience or completion of a related Vocational-Technical School program.
• ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8 is preferred; equivalent external qualifications considered.
• Must have a valid driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills are required.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and grow with the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, transmission fluid changes, and filter replacements.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Maintain tires and install parts as needed.
• Road test vehicles to ensure proper operation after service.
• Demonstrate ability to learn basic mechanical tasks as part of on-the-job training.

Education

Vocational-Technical School program in a related field

ASE certification (A1-A8) preferred

Valid automobile driver’s license at all times

• Must have a minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment.
• A.S.E certification in at least one of A1-A8 is preferred. Will accept equivalent external qualifications or training certifications. (New Hires with external similar qualification/certification will have up to 2 years of employment to comply.
