Job summary

Firestone Complete Auto Care in Manchester, NH is seeking an automotive technician to handle oil changes, battery installation, tire maintenance, and part installation. You will road test vehicles and develop basic mechanical skills in a fast-paced shop environment.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of automotive repair experience, with vocational training or third-party certifications. A valid driver’s license is required; ASE certification is preferred and considered for development

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years automotive repair experience.
• Completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessments.
• A.S.E certification in at least one of A1-A8 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts on vehicles.
• Road test vehicles.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Change oil, transmission fluid and filters.
• Install batteries and checks electrical systems.
• Tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Must have a minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment.
• A.S.E certification in at least one of A1-A8 is preferred. Will accept equivalent external qualifications or training certifications. (New Hires with external similar qualification/certification will have up to 2 years of employment to comply.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
