Job summary

Tata Technologies seeks an automotive controls engineer proficient in MATLAB/Simulink to design, implement, and validate control algorithms for powertrain systems. You will work with AUTOSAR models, implement state machines, and perform MIL/SIL testing using Polyspace and Calterm.

Strong problem-solving skills and experience with engine control and aftertreatment systems are essential. Experience with Windchill and ClearCase for configuration management, plus requirements management and hands-on

Qualifications

• Demonstrable capability in MATLAB/Simulink to develop/maintain/test/debug algorithms involved in development of typical control systems (like lookup tables, filters, PI/D loops, timers/counters, fixed point arithmetic)
• AUTOSAR Application Software Layer model development in Matlab/Simulink
• Capability in MATLAB scripting, Simulink and stateflow
• Experience in MIL,SIL, Polyspace Testing
• Experience in Calterm, Polyspace Testing
• Experience in On, Aftertreatment experience and Engine Controls.
• Windchill and clearcase understanding
• Requirements management
• Debugging/problem solving skills
• Auto code generation and build process
• Experience in Unit Testing and Integration Testing Desing and Development experience in MIL.
• Good Knowledge on Automotive Powertrain Features required
• Experience in any of the following powertrain functions will be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain control algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink (lookup tables, filters, PI/D loops, timers).
• Implement AUTOSAR Application Software Layer models in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Perform MIL/SIL/Polyspace testing and verification of control software.
• Create and execute MATLAB scripts and use Stateflow for state machines.
• Support on engine controls and aftertreatment experiences.
• Utilize Windchill and ClearCase for configuration and documentation.
• Manage requirements and perform debugging to resolve issues.
• Lead auto code generation and build processes; ensure unit/integration testing coverage.
