Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must have recent experience in an Automotive Manufacturing plant.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate to a diverse audience (customers, suppliers, employees).
• Results oriented with broad supply chain management knowledge.
• Strong ERP knowledge and PC software skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing, distributing raw materials, and ensuring on-time shipments of finished goods.
• Direct issuance of purchase orders and change notices.
• Analyze market and delivery conditions to forecast material availability.
• Review purchase orders and contracts for conformance to policy.
• Develop systems for purchasing, production scheduling, inventory control and traffic.
• Establish plant purchasing procedures aligned with corporate policies.
• Develop vendor requirements to improve timeliness and reduce costs.
• Maintain visual and data-driven inventory management.
• Ensure supplies are delivered to support uninterrupted production.
