Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Master Technician at the Chevrolet of Wayzata location. You will perform repairs and maintenance per dealer and factory standards while building customer trust and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy per dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with factory bulletins and training courses.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Perform other duties assigned by manager.

Located at Chevrolet of Wayzata, the Automotive Master Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.

• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.

• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers

• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate

• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur

• Maintains an organized work area

• Other duties assigned by manager

Job Requirements:
