Job summary

Napleton Orlando VW is seeking an Automotive Master Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to factory standards in a high-volume shop. The role emphasizes accuracy, customer trust, and efficient service delivery.

The ideal candidate possesses a Master Level Certification and at least 3 years of hands-on experience, with a proactive, process-driven approach and willingness to undergo background checks as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Technician.
• Master Level Certification.
• Ideal candidate is self-starter and process-driven.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff clearly.
• Stay updated with evolving automotive technology through training.
• Keep service bay organized and communicate issues to management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Technician required.
• Must have proven track record
• Master Level Certification
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
