Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Master Automotive Technician with strong diagnostic ability to join our team. We only use high-quality parts and we have a 4-year 48,000-mile nationwide warranty. Technicians are paid the full labor rate for warranty work. We have professionally trained service advisors that are in ongoing training programs. We provide free towing for our customers. Our shop is heated and equipped with large fans for cooling in the summer. We have all LED overhead lighting and lots of new shop equipment, including three Snap On shop scanners that are continually updated. The shop pays for training, ASE certifications, and renewals. Technician hours are 8 am to 5 pm, allowing you to be home in time for dinner. We have an amazing shop culture, and our technicians love coming to work. We also have Identifix and AllData available. Top pay is offered, dependent on experience and ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

  1. Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes.
  2. Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols.
  3. Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
  4. Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
  5. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  6. Convey necessary vehicle repair information to the service advisors in a clear and concise manner.

This is a flat rate pay job.

Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or GED is required.
  2. An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred.
  3. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) certification is preferred.
  4. Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
