Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 3-5 years in automotive stamping.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, organization, time management, and decision-making.
• Able to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• CAD software knowledge (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Mechanical inclination.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standards and customer-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design equipment components and CAD data to meet Martinrea and customer standards in order to produce acceptable parts within the parameters allowed.
• Order project related material, components, patterns, etc. and follow-up for accuracy and delivery.
• Conceptualize, plan, and execute engineering projects and changes from design until SOP.
• Extract information from detailed drawings and assist preparation for purchase, fabrication, and installation of components and systems.
• Liaising with customers as required.
• Perform buy-off procedures for new installations and follow-up with other departments or facilities as needed.
• Follow-up and troubleshooting of equipment issues and develop/improve manufacturing methods.
