Job summary

Adient is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support process development, new product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

You will develop and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment, support prototype builds, and lead cost-reduction efforts while collaborating with Production, Quality, and Safety teams to raise efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and Work Instructions.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, tooling, and production launches.
• Familiarity with ISO/IATF 16949 standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment.
• Support prototype builds and production launches.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Implement poka-yoke and process controls.
• Partner with Production, Quality, and Safety teams to improve efficiency and quality.
