Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a collaborative team servicing vehicles at Firestone Complete Auto Care locations. This entry-level role offers benefits from day one and a pay range of $14.52 to $21.78 per hour.

You will learn diagnostic and repair basics, perform maintenance tasks, and support tire and battery installations while advancing with ASE certifications and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.

Skills

Ability to learn basic mechanicaltasks

Valid driver’s license

Experience in automotive service
