Job summary

GRAMMER AG is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Tupelo, Mississippi. You will support automotive systems, performing installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, while reading blueprints and diagnosing issues.

Responsibilities include fabricating parts, wiring, and preventive maintenance. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 2–4 years of related experience, and strong communication and detail orientation. Openings for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Detail oriented with strong time management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; HRIS knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support automotive area with maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, pipes, machinery or equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions.
• Read blueprints, manuals or parts catalogs as needed.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate or repair parts.
• Inspect and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
