Job summary

Grammer AG in Kentucky seeks a 1st Shift Production Operator to operate production machinery and inspect products to ensure quality. You will observe processes, report malfunctions and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting production targets.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and strong English communication, with a preference for a High School diploma or GED. Core hours are Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery according to specific standards and protocols.
• Inspect finished products to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Observe machine operations and ensure the process is running up to standards.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following health and safety regulations.
• Conduct quality control tests and removing defective products from the production line.
• Collaborate with a team of operators to meet production targets and ensure efficiency.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance job performance.
• Load and unload items from machines and racks.
• Ensure the manufacturing process adheres to all company and industry guidelines for safety and efficiency.
