Amentum is seeking an Automotive Worker to perform routine vehicular maintenance at Fort Polk South, LA. You will service and repair vehicles, rotate tires, replace batteries, and assist on major overhaul tasks, following Technical Manuals and safety standards.

Requires at least a high school diploma and 1+ years in vehicle maintenance, plus valid driver’s license and forklift certification. Strong teamwork and attention to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Must obtain site forklift and other licenses/certifications.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Must understand and use Technical Manuals.
• Must complete paperwork for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to use hand tools and hydraulic equipment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Places and maintains decals on vehicles.
• Checks and replaces batteries.
• Rotates, repairs, and replaces tires.
• Washes, polishes, and cleans interiors and exteriors of vehicles.
• Drains, flushes, and replaces engine, transmission, and differential oils/grease.
• Checks and replaces spark plugs and filters.
• Adjusts brakes, wipers, and minor parts.
• Assist on major overhaul jobs as needed.
• Maintain tools and clean work areas.
