Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position plays a critical role in delivering the exceptional service experience our customers expect.

Pay Range:

$26-$38 per flat rate hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and thorough diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Use factory and aftermarket service manuals, scan tools, and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of vehicle issues.
• Complete digital multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings clearly and professionally, including a personalized video inspection.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle concerns, repair status, and recommended services.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with dealership and OSHA standards.
• Stay current on manufacturer training and certifications as required.
• Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper operation and repair completion.
• Follow all dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive trade school certification or degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computer systems in vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment.
