Job summary

Central Houston Cadillac is seeking a skilled Main Line Technician to service a diverse vehicle fleet. You will diagnose, inspect, and maintain cars, explain issues to customers, and perform repairs to ensure safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates bring automotive repair experience, ASE certification, and GM/Cadillac exposure. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and stable, full-time employment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training preferred.
State emission and safety knowledge advantageous.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
ASE certification.
State inspection license.
GM or Cadillac experience preferred.
2+ years of technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Repair brake and steering systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.
Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
Must read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Other duties as assigned.
