Job summary

Hutchinson Automotive Group in Macon, GA is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform preventive maintenance and basic diagnostics in a fast-paced dealership environment. You will learn through hands-on training and grow with a family-owned group that values safety, quality service, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, tire pressure, parts coordination, and safe operation of shop tools.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive interest encouraged.
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new technology.
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Strong physical dexterity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Document and perform work as outlined on repair orders following dealership and factory standards.
Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters.
Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary; check tire pressure and adjust.
Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts; keep shop area neat and clean.
Operate all tools and equipment safely and test-drive vehicles using diagnostic tools.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
