Job summary

The Hutchinson Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Lube Technician in Macon, Georgia. You will perform preventive maintenance, oil changes, fluid checks, and routine inspections to keep vehicles safe and running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair preferred.
• Strong physical dexterity and ability to use tools.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Document and perform work on repair orders per standards.
• Drain oil, replace oil/filters; inspect and maintain fluids.
• Check tire pressure and replenish as needed.
• Coordinate with parts department to obtain parts.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems with tools.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer specs.
• Keep the shop area neat and safe; handle tools properly.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about needed services.
