Job summary

Atlantic Auto Group is seeking a Lube Technician on Long Island to perform routine vehicle maintenance and assist in basic tasks. You will work with experienced technicians and service advisors to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of automotive experience, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. The role offers a 5-day schedule with a Saturday shift and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of previous experience in automotive service or maintenance.
• ASE certifications.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and interest in automotive repair.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels, air filters, belts, and other basic components
• Check and adjust tire pressure
• Assist in basic maintenance tasks such as battery installations and bulb replacements
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Communicate clearly with the service team regarding vehicle status and recommendations
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the dealership professionally
• Performs other duties as assigned
