Job summary

Atlantic Auto Group is seeking Experienced Service Professionals for its Service Department, including Master A, B, & C Levels and Express/Lube Technicians. A union shop environment with training and advancement opportunities is offered on Long Island.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and automotive technician experience, plus a valid NYS driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a drug test and background check. ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to two years of automotive technician experience preferred.
• ASE certifications are preferred.
• A, B, or C level qualifications plus Express are desirable.
• Must have a valid NY state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Check fluids and maintenance-related parts and replace fluids/filters as required.
• Diagnose issues based on experience, analysis, and testing.
• Follow shop policies, safety rules, and environmental regulations.
• Manage repairs by setting and communicating customer expectations.
• Perform routine service inspections and standard maintenance jobs.
• Repair automobiles and light trucks as assigned.
