Job summary

Town & Country Toyota, part of the Sonic Automotive family, is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform lubrication services and basic vehicle checks. This full-time role involves coordinating with the Production Foreman and Service Advisor to ensure quality, timely work.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in a dealership setting, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA and able to pass pre-employment testing (background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report).

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Perform thorough check of customer’s car (battery, lights, tires) and refer needed repairs.
• Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
• Receive repair order and proceed to service lift.
• Lubricate entire car and identify other items needing repair.
• Keep customer’s car clean and equipment in proper working order.
• Follow safety policies and report accidents.
• Assure knowledge in automotive repair and maintenance.
