Job summary

Town & Country Toyota in Charlotte, NC, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform lubrication services and support the Production Foreman.

The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7 am–6 pm, availability on Friday, Saturday, and Monday, Sundays off, and includes a 401k plan with company match, PTO accrual, and employee discounts on purchasing/leasing cars.

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Check battery, lights and tires; refer needed repairs to Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
• Receive repair orders and service on the lift.
• Lubricate the entire car while inspecting for other repair needs.
• Keep the customer’s car clean.
• Ensure lifts/equipment are in proper working order.
• Use appropriate amounts of materials and supplies.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Able to pass pre-employment testing (background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid license).
