Job summary

Sames Auto Group is hiring an entry-level Automotive Technician – Level C (Lube Technician) in Texas. You will perform basic maintenance tasks, learn under supervision, and support shop efficiency while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes following procedures, maintaining vehicle quality, and documenting work in dealership systems. A valid license and HS diploma or equivalent are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; prior automotive experience helpful but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing).
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance services, including oil and filter changes.
• Tire rotations and tire pressure checks.
• Fluid inspections and top-offs.
• Battery testing and replacement.

• Assist higher-level technicians with vehicle prep and shop tasks.
• Document completed work accurately in dealership systems.
• Follow safety guidelines and dealership procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

The Automotive Technician – Level C (Lube Technician) is an entry-level position responsible for basic vehicle maintenance and inspections. This role serves as the foundation for a technician career path and provides hands‑on training while supporting shop efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance services, including:
• Oil and filter changes
• Tire rotations and tire pressure checks
• Fluid inspections and top-offs
• Battery testing and replacement
• Basic vehicle inspections
• Assist B- and A-Level Technicians with vehicle preparation and shop support tasks.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings accurately.
• Learn proper use of tools, equipment, and service manuals.
• Follow safety guidelines and dealership procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Participate in training programs and skill development.
• Document completed work accurately in dealership systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS
