Job Summary:

We are seeking a Lube/General Service Automotive Technician to join our successful automotive service center. You will be responsible for servicing and performing minor repairs on vehicles, using service center software, and having some vehicle system knowledge. A 'never give up' attitude and problem-solving mindset are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in establishing service procedures and maintain technical documentation
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
• Conduct digital vehicle inspections and communicate findings to customers
• Note and photograph vehicle issues before service
• Protect vehicles from residue during service
• Complete maintenance inspections and digital notes
• Perform oil changes per manufacturer specs, double-check drain plugs and filters
• Ensure timely handling of waiting oil changes
• Apply service stickers and assist with shop organization and cleanliness
• Perform alignments and emissions inspections if certified
• Assist with tire repairs, including puncture sealing, valve stem replacement, and balancing
• Reassemble and remount wheels, rotate tires
• Support technicians, service writers, and office staff as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2-3 years of experience as a general service technician
• Emission certification preferred
• Alignment experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good time management and decision-making skills
• Clean driving record
