Job summary

Concord Honda in Concord, CA is seeking a Sales Porter to support the used-vehicle department. You will move, park, and display vehicles, clean and prep them for sale, and assist the sales team with logistics and customer support.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Full-time hours, Sundays required, with comprehensive training and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in automotive or lot porter roles is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Move, park, and organize vehicles on the lot and showroom to ensure an attractive and orderly display
• Clean and prepare vehicles for sale, including washing, vacuuming, and light detailing
• Ensure all vehicles are fueled, charged (if applicable), and ready for test drives
• Assist sales staff in retrieving and staging vehicles for customers
• Maintain cleanliness of the lot, showroom, and surrounding areas
• Perform basic vehicle inspections (check tire pressure, fluid levels, battery status, etc.)
• Transport vehicles between dealership locations, auctions, or service departments as needed
• Install or remove dealer tags, license plates, and window stickers
• Support special events, promotions, and sales activities as required
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
