Job summary

Gill Automotive Group in California is seeking a dependable Detailer / Lot Porter to assist with vehicle preparation, lot organization, and maintaining dealership appearance standards. Responsibilities include washing, cleaning, waxing, detailing vehicles for delivery and display, and moving vehicles on the lot.

Work outdoors in various weather conditions with a valid driver’s license. Hourly pay ranges from $17.00 to $20.00, based on experience, plus medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid

Qualifications

• Previous detailing or lot porter experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, wax, and detail vehicles for delivery and display
• Move and organize vehicles on the dealership lot
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of inventory vehicles
• Assist in preparing new and used vehicles for sale
• Perform lot inspections and ensure vehicles are properly displayed
• Keep dealership grounds clean and organized
• Transport vehicles between departments as needed
• Assist with miscellaneous dealership support duties
