The Stellantis NV Design and Release Engineer will guide exterior lighting components from initial concept through full production, coordinating with Product Design Office concepts, sketches, and CAD resources to validate designs.

You will establish development timelines, lead DV/PV testing, and ensure release of geometry using Teamcenter/NX, while supporting pilot builds and production launches on site at the Auburn, AL plant.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1 year automotive exterior lighting experience.
• Experience with design release processes.
• Knowledge of lighting components and regulatory standards.
• GD&T and tolerance stack-ups understanding.
• Experience with DV/PV testing.

Responsabilidades

• Develop components from concept to production.
• Establish development timelines.
• Lead design with internal/external CAD resources.
• Release completed geometry using Teamcenter/NX.
• Validate virtual designs with CAE and physical testing.
• Plan tool construction and production of assemblies.
• Provide on-site support for pilot builds and launches.
• Root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Analyze warranty and cost reduction opportunities.
